As Mayor of Columbus, I will focus on prioritizing violence reduction, prioritizing student literacy, addressing homelessness, advancing justice reform, and driving community development. Justice reform means prioritizing decarceration for nonviolent offenders, prioritizing mental health and diversion programs over jail overcrowding, and prioritizing the fair use of city funds to help families instead of wasting resources. My vision is to restore safety, dignity, and opportunity to every neighborhood.
